Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane landed based on standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels at the time.

This occurrence is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has experienced mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying Marco Rubio to Munich was required to turn back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
